Bangladesh ~~A~~ team named for England tour

Dhaka:The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) picked a host of national players in the 15-member Bangladesh 'A' team for the forthcoming tour of England.

As many as nine current national players were picked with left-handed batsman Shahriar Nafees Ahmed, currently on national duty in England, being named captain.

Promising middle-order batsman and Test discard Alok Kapali and all-rounder Mushfiqur Rahman have been included in the side.

The team is scheduled to leave for England on July 15.

They would play five three-day and four One-day games against different county selected teams during their month-long tour.

Squad: Shahriar Nafees (captain), Nafees Iqbal, Tushar Imran, Alok Kapali, Aftab Ahmed, Nazimuddin, Hasanuzzaman, Mushfiqur Rahim (wicket keeper), Mushfiqur Rahman, Anwar Hossain Monir, Talha Jubair, Shahadat Hossain Rajib, SK Russel, Enamul Haque and Abdur Razzak Raj.

Officials: Golam Nowsher Prince (team operations manager) and Shaun Williams (coach).
