Bridgetown:Barbados Cricket Association has picked former WICB director Tony Marshall as its candidate for the presidency of the WICB, after Teddy Griffith offered to step down at the end of his tenure this July.

Meanwhile, Jamaica Cricket Association is likely to reveal its nominee for the post soon.

JCA president Jackie Hendriks is tipped to be in the fray as does former president Pat Rosseau, who served in the top WICB post between 1996 and 2001.

Former West Indies captain and ICC match referee Clive Lloyd along with former Windies wicketkeeper Deryck Murray and Ken Gordon are also believed to be in the race.
