"If it has to happen, it will happen. It is not something that can remain hidden from public eye. The reports that the marraige will happen in June or July are false. I will myself inform everyone when it happens," Miandad told Star News from Karachi.
He was responding to reports that the marriage was to be solemnised in the second week of next month.
On his relations with Dawood, who was recently decalared as global terrorist even by the United Nations, the former Pakistan captain and coach said "my wife and Dawood's wife are like sisters and his wife is infact a relative of my mother."
Miandad said the marraige of his son was their "personal" matter and he would not like anyone to interfere in that.
"It (the marriage) is our personal matter and I do not let anyone interfere in my family matters. I have received many queries about it but I have neither denied nor confirmed the news," he said.
