PCB announces umpire~~s cource from Aug 15th

Rawalpindi:An umpire's refresher course will be held at the Pindi Cricket Stadium here from August 15, it was officially announced on Tuesday.

All umpires of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Panel have been advised to attend the course, which will also be organised in Lahore and Karachi.

The course in Lahore was originally scheduled for August 18 and19 but has been rescheduled for August 19 and 20 due to local government elections, according to PCB.

The participants of the course to be conducted at the Pindi Cricket Stadium will be drawn from Abbottabad, Azad Kashmir, Buner, Charsadda, D.I. Khan, Islamabad, Kohat, Mardan, Peshawar and Rawalpindi. The instructors at this venue will be Said Shah, Javed Akhtar and Khizar Hayat.

While, those at the Qaddafi Stadium will be Said Shah, Azhar Hassan and Khizer Hayat. The Lahore course will bring together the participants from Bahawalnagar, Bahawalpur, Faisalabad, Kasur, Khanewal, Lahore, Multan, Sargodha, Sheikhupura and Muridke.

Mahboob Shah and Ferozuddin Butt will conduct the course to be held at the National Stadium, Karachi on August 22-23, with participants to hail from D.M.Jamali, Dadu, Hyderabad, Karachi, Loralai, Quetta, Shikarpur and Thatta.
