Speculation of match-fixing during tri-series

New Delhi:Amidst speculation of match-fixing during the recent tri-series in Zimbabwe, Centretoday said it plans to bring a law to deal with the menace.

"The government will be consulting all state governmentsto try and bring a specific law against match-fixing and betting", Minister of State for Home Affairs Sri PrakashJaiswal told reporters.

Indian cricket establishment was yesterday abuzz with reports of two ICC Anti-Corruption officials -- Martin Hawkins and Alan Peacock -- making a trip to the capital, ostensibly to probe allegations of match-fixing during the Zimbabwetri-series.
