The Administrative Committee of Punjab Cricket Association has taken note of and considered the statements made by Harbhajan Singh, who is registered with PCA and currently part of the Indian team.
The committee had requested the PCA Secretary to get in touch with the player and convey the committee's feelings.
In spite of the best efforts to contact him, he is not accessible at the moment, a PCA release said here tonight.
Therefore, he is being advised to meet PCA office Bearers (PCA Secretary M P Pandov) for discussions and appropriate remedial measures and put the things in the right perspective, the release added.
PCA sources told PTI that since he is affiliated to the association he should not have given any statement on the matter without discussing the issue with them.
They said that since the BCCI review committee would meet in Mumbai on Tuesday to discuss the team's performance in Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe Harbhajan should have kept quiet.
Earlier in the day, Harbhajan Singh backed captain Sourav Ganguly crediting him for the success of the team and accused Chappell of creating "fear and insecurity" among the players. He also accused the coach of adopting "double standards"
