Tendulkar made his appearance at the venue where he made his first class debut more than a decade and a half ago and practised with some other Mumbai Ranji Trophy probables gearing up for the coming domestic season.
The champion batsman, eager to find out how his elbow feels post-surgery in competitive match play during the October 10-13 N K P Challenger Series in Mohali, batted for about twenty minutes against bowlers who did not go flat out.

Tendulkar underwent surgery for his tennis elbow problem in May-end. He missed India's tours to Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe while recuperating from his surgery and is hoping to get fit for the seven-match ODI home series against Sri Lanka commencing later this month.
