Barbodas:The West Indies will send its best team to Australia for this summer's tour after a long-running player contract dispute was finally settled.

The West Indies cricket board has reached an agreement with the players' association which will see all players, including World XI star Brian Lara, sign contracts to take part in the tour.

The dispute saw Lara and another nine top players miss the team's tour of Sri Lanka earlier this year.

The absentees had decided not to sign contracts due to a clash between their personal sponsorship deals and those of the team as a whole.

The West Indies play three Tests in Australia this summer, starting in early November.
