Ravikant Shukla to lead Under-19 team at Vizag

Kolkata:India's junior cricket selection committee today announced a 14-member Under-19 team led by Ravikant Shukla for the Afro-Asian tournament to be held in Visakhapatnam from November 19 to 27.

BCCI Joint Secretary and junior selection committee convenor Gautam Dasgupta said that talented right arm leg spinner Piyush Chawla would be the vice-captain of the team.

Apart from India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Bangladesh, South Africa and Zimbabwe are taking part in the six-nation meet being held in the lead up to the Under-19 World Cup to be played in Sri Lanka in February.

Following the is the team: Ravi Kant Shukla (captain), Piyush Chawla (vice-captain), Pinal Shah (wicket keeper), Cheteswar Pujara, Tanmoy Srivastava, Mayank Tehelan, Debabrata Das, Ravindra Jadeja, Shahabaz Nadeem, Yo Mahesh, Saurav Bandekar, Gaurav Dhimang, Abu Naschim Ahmed and Rahul Sharma.
