Pune:Former India captain Saurav Ganguly, who was today removed from the post for the ensuing Test series against Sri Lanka at home, refused to comment on the decision.

"I would not say anything on the issue (of his sacking as captain)," Ganguly, who is leading the Bengal Ranji Trophy team which will take on Maharashtra in the four-day match commencing at Jawaharlal Nehru stadium from tomorrow, told reporters.

"I would definately talk to you but only after the (Ranji) match," a smiling Ganguly added.

The selectors, which met at Chennai today, decided to hand over the Test reins to Rahul Dravid for the three-match series against Lankans.

Ganguly, India's most successful captain ever, was stripped of the One-day captaincy last month and his future as a player will be decided tomorrow when the Test team is announced.
