Goa's new coach Namdev Phadte is confident that his side will display a better performance going to the attitute of his boys in the camp who have worked hard in the run-up of the tournament.
Goa, who have a poor record in the ranji trophy, will be looking for a big score from their dependable opener Swapnil Asnodkar who has been their main stay. They also have two professional players Agam Pundit from Mumbai and Nikhil Haldipur from West Bengal to strengthen their batting line up.
Avinash Aware and Robin D'Souza will lead the attack along with Sahadab Jakati.
Orissa will be looking to their test discard, opener Shiv Sunder Das and bowler Debashish Mohanty for their team success both will be keen to put up a good show in order to impress the selector for their recall.
