Bangalore:Preparations were in full swing for hosting the 2007 World Cup Cricket by West Indies, its yesteryear cricketer Ian Bishop said today.

"Lot of facilities are being built and rebuilt for the mega event through which Caribbeans can showcase their nation", Bishop said in a chat with reporters here.

The atmosphere in the country is different from other nations, he said.

Turning to his golfing game, he said he took to it after his retirement from cricket five years ago and regretted that he had not taken up golf much earlier.

"I am addicted to the game. I dream at night the shots I play tomorrow", he said, expressing his love for the game.

"Cricket is a team sport, but golf is a challenge for myself. I don't like loosing", he said.

For South Africa's Barry Richards, Clive Rice, Pat Symcox and Gary Kirsten, golf is an action game and not a "reaction game."

"golf is a difficult game. If you loose a ball in cricket, nothing happens, but in golf, you will loose a stroke", Richards said.
