WB CM~~s comment on Pawar~~s election as BCCI Chief

Kolkata:''Thank goodness!'' was the cryptic comment of West Bengal Chief Minister Buddhadev Bhattacharjee on the election of Union Agriculture minister and Maharashtra cricket chief Sharad Pawar as president of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) here today.

Bhattacharjee, known to be a cricket lover, made the off the cuff remark when informed by reporters that Pawar won the election defeating Randhir Singh Mahindra of the Jagmohan Dalmiya camp, by 20-11 votes.
