Chennai:Rain played spoilsport again and no play was possible on the fourth and final day as well in the Ranji Trophy Elite Group 'A' match between Tamil Nadu and Karnataka.

Umpires called off the match after two inspections.

From the drawn match, the rivals shared two points each.

Rain and wet ground conditions ruled out any possibility of play yesterday.

Tamil Nadu were 80 without loss when bad light put an end to the proceedings on Saturday. Vidyut Sivaramakrishnan was batting on 38 and C Hemant Kumar on 26.

Only 122 minutes of play was possible in the match.
