Haryana, after conceding a 203 run first innings lead, were all out for 158 just in one hour play this morning as speedster Kalyankrishna claimed both the wickets to take his tally to five and give Andhra a handsome victory.
Andhra after bundling Haryana out for 206 in the first innings, piled up 409 runs with seasoned MSK Prasad(79) and Y Venugopala Rao(70) laying a solid foundation.
KS Shabuddin displyed his skills by chipping in 61 runs while spinner Mohamed Faiq hit a 42 to boost Andhra score.
Starting with a deficit of 203 runs, Haryana batsmen never got into the act right with speedsters KS Shabuddin and Kalyankrishna bowing a tight length and a tesing line which was evident by the four catches edged into wicket keeper MSK Prasad's hands.
While Shahbuddin was the chief wrecker yesterday, the play began with more promise to speedsters as Kalyankrishna despatched overnight batsman Mahesh Rawat for 42 after he added just two runs to his score.
Gourav Vasisht, the other overnight batsman, tried to delay the proceedings but his valour lived for 20 runs as Kalyankrishna dismissed him through BBK Singh and the visitors ended up at 158 giving Andhra a facile victory.
Andhra bowled 13.2 overs and conceded 33 runs to claim the reamining two wickets in 64 minutes. With this outright win, which fetched five points, Andhra tally went up to seven off four matches.
They have two more matches in the Elite B Group.
