Dubai:A review of the much-debated experimental one-day rules as also the Future Test Programme would top the agenda at the two-day ICC Chief Executives' Committee meeting which begins here today.

The ICC had introduced the new rules which allow a side to field a Supersub and have field restrictions for 20 overs (Powerplay) on a trial basis for a 10-month period, which expires next month.

The proposal of a nine-day Twenty20 World Championship and a revamped ICC Champions Trophy would be the other importants issues which would be discussed.

The meeting will be the first opportunity for CEC to review the wide interest shown in ICC events through to 2015 including the next two ICC Cricket World Cups, an ICC press release said.

The members of the CEC will consider these topics and make recommendations to the March meeting of the ICC Board regarding potential formats and timings.

The two-day meeting will be followed by an ICC Scheduling Summit at which all the representatives from 10 Test playing countries will discuss a potential six-year programme of international cricket.

ICC Cricket Committee Chairman Sunil Gavaskar will also attend the meeting which will be chaired by Chief Executive Malcolm Speed.
