Jharkhand to honour Dhoni~~s achievements

Jamshedpur:Jharkhand State Cricket Association (JSCA) will felicitate Star wicket keeper-batsman of team India Mahendra Singh Dhoni for being the first Test cricketer from the state.

JSCA president Amitabh Chowdhary told UNI the dashing cricketer will be honoured on April 10 here after his arrival for the sixth One-day international to be played at Keenan stadium on April 12.

Other cricketers including Virendra Sehwag and Irfan Pathan would also be present during the occasion, Mr Chowdhury said.

He said ''We are proud of Dhoni and we are also going to honour him with the life long membership of JSCA''.

Meanwhile vice-president of JSCA U K Srivastav resigned from his post on the health ground, an official source said.
