Lucknow:Helped by Saurabh Singh's (101) fine century, hosts Lucknow Cricket Academy (LCA) took a 2-0 lead over the Youngster Cricket Club (YCC), Lahore winning by a comprehensive 92 runs in the second of the five-match Deep Fire Trophy here today.

Although LCA lost first three wickets within 15 overs, it posted a challenging total of 273 for the loss of eight wickets after 40 overs.

Saurabh Singh played the sheet anchor's role scoring 101, cracking nine boundaries and two sixes.

He was ably supported by Saurabh Bhalla, who made 68 runs hitting eight boundaries. Together, they scored 147 runs for the fourth wicket.

For visitors, Asim Khurshid and Faizal Mahmood claimed three wickets apiece conceding 29 and 46 runs respectively in their quota of eight overs.
