Lahore:The PCB sought to dispel the fears that it had conceded all marketing, sponsorships, media rights for offshore matches to the BCCI and said it would prepare a separate tender for the 15 India-Pak overseas matches.

Zee Telefilms forked out 219.15 million dollars to bag the global media rights of the offshore matches featuring India for a period of five years. The deal includes lucrative 15 India Pakistan matches on neutral venues.

''PCB has no link with the multi-million dollar deal and we will work with India together to prepare a separate tender for all marketing rights for off-shore series between the two countries,'' Board chairman Shaharyar Khan told reporters here.

According to certain media reports, the PCB had conceded the marketing rights to its Indian counterpart for the five-year series and under that agreement the Indian board signed the media rights' deal, unilaterally.

''PCB has only conceded the marketing right of two ODIs for the earthquake victims because that proposal also came from the Indian board, but as far as the five-year plan is concerned no such agreement was signed,'' Shaharyar said.

India and Pakistan are playing ODIs in Abu Dhabi on April 18-19 to raise funds for October 8 earthquake victims.
