Indore:Team India and their England counterparts arrived here yesterday for the seventh and final One-day international match on April 15.

The teams were received at the airport by Mayor Uma Shashi Sharma and Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association Secretary Sanjay Jagdale.

Later, the players proceeded to the Landmark Fortune Hotel where they were welcomed as per Malwa tradition by being crowned with turbans and anointing of foreheads.

However, Rahul Dravid arrived this morning earlier than his teammates itself as his maternal grandfather belongs to the city and the Indian skipper was born here on January 11, 1973.

Dravid's grandmother Manorama Kale is keen to watch the match at the stadium but Dravid's maternal aunt Shobhna Kale said her advanced age and health problems might not permit that.

Meanwhile, preparations are complete at the Usha Raje Stadium for the final ODI.
