Sydney:Australia called up batsman Mark Cosgrove and paceman Brett Dorey to replace Damien Martyn and Stuart Clark in the upcoming one-day series against Bangladesh.

Cricket Australia Tuesday said Martyn was returning home after an elbow injury ruled him out of the one-day series, while Clark was already back in Sydney to be with his wife for the birth of their first child.

Cosgrove, 21, is a left-handed batsman who averages 41.12 for South Australia in domestic cricket and has never represented Australia before.

West Australian Dorey, 28, represented his country in three one-day internationals against South Africa earlier this year, taking one wicket and conceding 134 runs.
