''I just think he's a very exciting player. He's shown us he's a really good player at the moment, but you have to play over a long period of time,'' Fletcher was quoted as saying by Daily Post.
The 25-year old right hander has already been compared with the likes of Sachin Tendulkar and Brian Lara for his talent and aggression and the England coach said the flamboyant stroke-player always played according to plan.
''He's new to Test cricket and he's done very, very well. He is exciting and I find him a very clever cricketer. People think he just goes out there and just plays the game, but he really thinks what he's going to do.'' ''He doesn't go out there and just play by instinct. Some shots maybe, but he's generally he's got a good plan of how he's going to play every bowler,'' Fletcher added.
