India to play tri-series and tour South Africa

New Delhi:India will play a tri-series in Sri Lanka -- with South Africa as the third party -- in August this year, while the Men in Blue will also tour South Africa from November 14-January 7 to play five ODIs and three Test matches against the Proteas.

BCCI Secretary Niranjan Shah said in a statement today that the team would travel to Sri Lanka for the tri-series, which begins on August 14, and the final is slated for August 29.

Team India will reach Johannesburg on November 14 to play five ODIs and three Tests before leaving for home on January 7.

13th August: One Day Warm-Up match at urunegala
14th August: Sri Lanka v/s South Africa at Dambulla (D/N)
16th August: Sri Lanka v/s India at Dambulla (D/N)
18th August: India v/s. South Africa at Dambulla (D/N)
20th August: Sri Lanka v/s. South Afria at Dambulla (D/N)
23rd August: Sri Lanka v/s India at R Premadasa (D/N)
26th August: India v/s. South Africa at R Premadasa (D/N)
29th August: Final at R Premadasa (D/N)
30th August: Departure
