Sri Lanka opt to bat first in second One-dayer

London:Sri Lanka won the toss and opted to bat in the second One-day International against England at The Oval today.

England were unchanged while Sri Lanka, who lead the five-match series 1-0 after winning by 20 runs at Lord's on Saturday, made two changes.

The injured Dilhara Fernando was replaced by fellow fast bowler Ruchira Perera and Chamara Kapugedera with Farveez Maharoof.

Teams: England - Marcus Trescothick, Andrew Strauss (captain), Ian Bell, Kevin Pietersen, Paul Collingwood, Jamie Dalrymple, Geraint Jones, Tim Bresnan, Liam Plunkett, Sajid Mahmood, Steve Harmison.

Sri Lanka - Upul Tharanga, Sanath Jayasuriya, Mahela Jayawardene (captain), Kumar Sangakkara, Tillakaratne Dilshan, Russel Arnold, Farveez Maharoof, Chaminda Vaas, Ruchira Perera, Lasith Malinga, Muttiah Muralitharan.
