Bangalore:He has emerged as Team India's middle order mainstay in the shorter version of the game but Yuvraj Singh is far from being satisfied and the dashing southpaw now wants to improve his show in Test matches as well.

Despite his three back-to-back Man of the Series awards in ODI series, the perfectionist in Yuvraj seems unhappy that the case has not been the same in Test matches.

''I am very disappointed that I ended not getting many runs in the Test matches in the recent tour of West Indies. I'm Pretty upset and I want to improve my Test record also,'' he announced.

''It was actually a good season but I didn't score too many runs in the Test matches. That is why I want to concentrate more on Test matches. I want to utilise the ODIs to improve my performance in the Test matches'', added the Punjab bat who was here on a promotional campaign.

About forthcoming tri-series in Sri Lanka, in which South Africa is the third team, Yuvraj said ''Last time when we visited, we lost the series. This time we don't want to repeat the same mistake.

''We want to win and we are working on a plan'', he added.

Yuvraj is also aware that World Cup is just six months away and said, ''I want to improve upon in maintaining consistency.'' Asked if Team India was playing too much cricket resulting in players' burnout, Yuvraj said, ''At young age, we don't feel anything. It's upto the Board to decide how much we have to play.''
