Hair wants to continue, urges early ICC hearing

''This correspondence (the e-mail) was composed at a very difficult time and was revoked by myself two days later after a period of serious consideration. There was no malicious intent behind this communication with the ICC,'' Hair said in his statement to the ICC after it went public with the e-mail.

The Aussie said he was hoping for a quick disposal of the issue and made it clear that he intended to carry on umpiring.

''I am anxious that the Code of Conduct hearing takes place as soon as possible so that these matters can resolved and allow me to move on with my umpiring,'' he said.
