Dubai: The ICC today appointed Chris Broad as the match referee for the tri-nation DLF Cup featuring India, Australia and West Indies in Malaysia.

Broad, who is a member of the Emirates Elite Panel of ICC match referees, will oversee the entire seven-match ODI series to be played in Kuala Lumpur from September 12 to 22.

Mark Benson and Asad Rauf from the Emirates Elite Panel of ICC umpires and Tony Hill from the Emirates International Panel have been appointed to fulfill the on-field and third umpire duties, an ICC release said here.

The ICC also appointed the match referee and umpires for the three-match ODI series between South Africa and Zimbabwe from September 15 to 20.

The Proteas will play host to the minnows and Roshan Mahanama will preside over the matches with Emirates Elite Panel ICC umpire Daryl Harper joined in the middle by appointees from South African cricket board.
