Sachin Tendulkar scored his 40th ODI century in his comeback match in DLF Cup at Kuala Lumpur today against West Indies. This is the highest number of centuries scored ever by a batsman in One-day international matches.

Sachin, who was off the field for almost one year, opened the innings with skipper Rahul Dravid and scored a strokeful 141 off 148 balls. His unbeaten innings, which was studded with 13 fours and five sixers, helped India set Windies a daunting target of 310.
