Kuala Lumpur: Australia will ring the changes when they take on West Indies in the latest match in the tri-series today.

Captain Ricky Ponting is being rested with Australia being led by Mike Hussey while Phil Jaques, Mitchell Johnson and Mark Cosgrove have returned home.

Matthew Hayden and Brett Lee will start for the first time in the tournament. West Indies fast bowler Corey Collymore, who has been suffering from a thigh muscle injury, will have a fitness test before the match.

"With treatment over the past week it has been improving well," said Collymore. Ponting said Australia wanted to give all the 18 players who had travelled to Kuala Lumpur a game.

"We arrived with an 18-man squad and wanted to experiment by giving everyone a chance," said Ponting. Australia top the table and a win against West Indies would almost guarantee them a place in Sunday's final.

The match will start at 0630 BST, an hour earlier than originally scheduled, to allow more playing time should bad weather strike again.
