Langer to lead ~~Warriors~~ team for Indian tour

Bangalore: Australian Test opener Justin Langer will lead a 15-member 'Retrevision Warriors' team touring India from September 22 to October 2.

The team would play a three-day match and three One-dayers against Karnataka. While the three-day match from September 23 would be played at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium here, the One-dayer would be played in Mysore, a Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) release here today said.

The tour was the outcome of a partnership between the University of Western Australia and the Western Australian Cricket Association.

Meanwhile, the KSCA announced an 18-member team with Yere Goud as Captain.

The team: Yere Goud (Captain), Robin Uthappa, Bharat Chipli, C Raghu, Rowland Barrington, Deepak A Chougule, Devraj T Patil, Sunil B Joshi, B Akhil, N C Aiyappa, R Vinay Kumar, K P Appanna, Udit B Patel, Stuart T Binny, Sunil N Raju, V S Thilak Naidu, Gaurav Dhiman and Md Arif.
