Lahore: Tanmay Srivastava (88) and Vital Kohli (80) struck magnificent half centuries and later Piyush Chawla and Sumit Shrama spun a web around Pakistani batsmen as Indian colts drubbed the hosts by a whopping 174-run margin to take a winning 3-0 lead in the four-match One-day series here yesterday.

Replying to India's 298, Pakistan under-19 failed to put up any real challenge and lost wickets at regular interval before being bundled out for paltry 124 in 36.5 overs. Skipper Chawla grabbed three for 28 while Sharma scalped as many for 34.

Chasing a mammoth total was never going to be easy and Pakistan only added to their misery with batsman showing anything but application. The hosts had a horrible start and Indian bowlers, bowling a tight leash, removed both the openers cheaply. The middle order failed to put any resistance and half of the team was back in pavilion with scoreboard reading just 38.

Rana Adnan in the middle and Mohammed Naved towards the end scored 27 apiece to spare Paksitan of the ignominy of being bowled out under 100.

Earlier, Shrivastava and Kohli added 152 runs for the third wicket as India survived poor start to post an imposing total.

The duo built up the innings after both the openers were back in the hut soon.

Kohli took just 92 balls for his 80 which was studded with nine fours while in-form Shrivastava missed his century when he was undone Imad Wasim. Shrivastava made 88 off 114 balls with seven hits to the fence.

The tail wagged as well and scored some quick runs to put India in the advantageous position.

India play their last ODI of the series at Gaddafi Stadium here tomorrow.

Brief Scores: India (298/9 in 50 overs. Tanmay Shrivastava 88) Pakistan (124 all out in 36.5 overs, Piyush Chawla 3/28)
