Australia win toss, put England in to bat

Jaipur:Australia captain Ricky Ponting has elected to field after winning the toss against England in a crucial Champions Trophy match.

England and Australia need a win in their second Group-A league encounter to keep alive hopes of qualifying for the semi-finals. Both have lost their opening game in the four-team group.

England retained the side that lost to India by four wickets here on Sunday while Australia replaced Brad Hogg with fast bowler Mitchell Johnson for the only change from the team that lost to the West Indies at Mumbai on Wednesday.

The top two sides advance to the semi-finals.
