Sydney:Test paceman Jason Gillespie was ruled out of the Prime Minister's XI team for a warm-up match against England with a shoulder injury, Cricket Australia said.

Gillespie, who was selected to captain the PM XI team, suffered the injury playing for South Australia in last weekend's Sheffield Shield match against New South Wales in Adelaide.

Leg-spinner Cameron White will now lead the PM XI team against England in Canberra on Friday, having been originally selected as vice-captain.

Western Australia fast bowler Brett Dorey, who has played one-day cricket for Australia, replaces Gillespie in the invitational line-up for the first warm-up match ahead of the Ashes Test series.

Prime Minister's XI: Cameron White (captain), Travis Birt, Mark Cosgrove, Brett Dorey, Ben Hilfenhaus, Phil Jaques, Shaun Marsh, Tim Paine, Adam Ritchard, Shaun Tait, Adam Voges and Mark Divin (12th man)
