Bahutule to lead Maharashtra Ranji team

Pune:Sairaj Bahutule-led Maharashtra will be without the services of seamer Munaf Patel in their four-day 'Elite Group' league engagement against Hyderabad at Karad from Nov 23 to 25.

Coach Chandrakant Pandit has been entrusted the task of putting the State Ranji and Under-19 teams through their paces, replacing Australian Darren Holder.

Maharashtra Cricket Association president Ajay Shirke, while announcing the 13-member squad here today, said the absence of ace seamer Munaf Patel, who has been selected in the India team for the South Africa tour, will be missed.

The squad:

Sairaj Bahutule (Capt), Dheeraj Jadhav, Hrishikesh Kanitkar, S Sriram, H Khadiwale, Nikhil Pradkar, Rohit Jadhav, Suyesh Burkul, Anupam Sanklecha, Rajendra Patkar, Aditya Dole, Satyajit Satbhai (WK) and Yogesh Takawale.
