Durban:Zimbabwe has put their faith in slow bowlers for this month's tour of Bangladesh.

Captain and off-spinner Prosper Utseya heads a 15-man squad named on Tuesday that also features left-arm spinners Sean Williams and Keith Dabengwa, and leg-spinner Ryan Higgins.

''The squad is pretty much what we're looking for in terms of bowling allrounders, which of course will give us batting depth,'' Zimbabwe coach Kevin Curran told Reuters from Harare.

''We've picked quite a few spinners because of the conditions we will be playing in.'' Curran is hopeful that paceman Ed Rainsford, recovering from a broken thumb, will join the tour after the first one-day international in Khulna on Nov. 30.

''It's almost three weeks since he sustained the injury and he is almost ready to start bowling again,'' Curran said.

Zimbabwe will play five one-dayers and one Twenty20 match.

The Squad:

Prosper Utseya (captain), Gary Brent, Chamu Chibhabha, Elton Chigumbura, Keith Dabengwa, Ryan Higgins, Anthony Ireland, Blessing Mahwire, Hamilton Masakadza, Stuart Matsikenyeri, Tinotenda Mawoyo, Christopher Mpofu, Mluleki Nkala, Brendan Taylor and Sean Williams. Kevin Curren (coach)
