Rawalpindi:The first of five one-day internationals between Pakistan and the West Indies was abandoned here due to heavy rain.

Umpires Daryl Harper and Aleem Dar called off the match on Tuesday after finding a waterlogged field here following three days of torrential downpours.

The West Indian captain Brian Lara said his team would now focus on Thursday's second match in Faisalabad on Thursday.

"The weather wasn't great but we have to move on. The focus is now on the second match as the series move on," Lara said.

Pakistan won the three-match Test series 2-0.
