Pakistan win toss and bat in fourth One-dayer

Multan:Pakistan won the toss and elected to bat in the fourth day-night limited over international against the West Indies at Multan Stadium here.

The home team were forced to make four changes from their last line-up as captain Inzamam-ul-Haq was ruled out due to an injury to his left hand little finger. Abdul Razzaq is leading the Pakistan team.

Also out were spinner Abdul Rehman, paceman Umar Gul and batsman Mohammad Yousuf. Yousuf missed the match to attend his pregnant wife while Rehman and Gul were rested.

All-rounder Shahid Afridi, Faisal Iqbal, Yasir Hameed and Mohammad Sami were included in the Pakistan team who lead the five-match series 2-0. The first match was washed out in Rawalpindi.

The tourists were boosted by the return of ace batsman Shivnarine Chanderpaul who will play his first match in the series after recovering from a knee injury. Spinner Dave Mohammed and fast bowler Daren Powell were also brought in.

The West Indies rested batsman Daren Ganga, pacemen Corey Collymore (flu) and Jerome Taylor from their line-up.
