India's population is 'human resource':Razi

Bokaro, Jan 21: India's huge population can be converted into human resource, Jharkhand Governor Syed Sibtey Razi said.

The governor said the country's population could be exploited if proper education was imparted to all.

Speaking at a function here, Mr Razi yesterday said India was the second country in population after China, but the huge human resource remained unutilised in absence of proper education.

Mr Razi said though youths of the country had made it proud in various fields but the basic foundation of a citizen was laid during his student life.

Stressing the need of proper education, Mr Razi said the power of education would strengthen the youths so that they could play vital role in the country's development adding the next fifty years would be for the youths.
