London, Mar 31: Frans Cronje, the brother of the late South Africa&13;captain, Hansie Cronje, has expressed his disbelief over the fact that&13;Bob Woolmer was harbouring any information about match-fixing, which&13;led to his murder in Kingston 13 days ago.
Frans, who remained in close contact with the late coach after&13;Hansie's death, told the 'Times', ''We do not know at this stage about&13;Bob's murder, but I don't think Bob knew anything more about the links&13;to the gambling world. He certainly never indicated as much.'' ''Bob&13;was busy writing his book and his main take on Hansie's case was that&13;after seven years, there was nothing new left in the case to come&13;out,'' he added.
Frans also revealed that his cricketer brother Hansie, whose&13;career came to a halt after revelations of links with international&13;bookmakers, always hoped that the welter of negative publicity which&13;his case received would have ultimately eradicated match-fixing from&13;the game.
Frans is producing a film about his late brother Hansie and in&13;this regard last met Woolmer in Cape Town a week before the late&13;Englishman left for Caribbean as coach of the Pakistan cricket team.
