Bangalore:The Indian selection committee will meet at the Wankhede Stadium later today to pick the team for the Bangladesh tour. Considering BCCI working committee instruction to pick a "young team", the selectors are likely to grant 'rest' for Sachin Tendulkar and Sourav Ganguly for the ODI series but they are likely to be chosen for the Test matches.

The selectors also may drop seniors like Harbhajan Singh, Virender Sehwag, Ajit Agarkar and Irfan Pathan from the ODI team, said sources.

Yuvraj Singh is tipped to become the vice-captain of the team, which will be led by Rahul Dravid.

All these chopping acts would make way to promising youngsters like Rohit Sharma and Manoj Tiwary. Ramesh Powar and Gautam Gambhir are also likely to be included in ODI team.

Ishant Sharma and Ranadeb Bose are also in contention for a place in the team as a part of the fast bowling attack. Gujarat's Ashraf Matra, VRV Singh or Yusuf Pathan may get picked in place of Irfan Pathan.

The Indian team will begin the tour in the second week of May with the One-Day International series followed by the two Tests.
