Vaughan chooses to bowl against Windies

Bridgetown (Barbados):England won the toss and elected to field against West Indies in their last Super Eights tie at Kensington Oval here on Saturday.

Today's match is more significant for emotions rather than pride as West Indies captain and legend Brian Lara is playing the last international match of his long illustrious career, while England is bidding farewell to their coach Duncan Fletcher who gave the heroic Ashes victory two summers ago.

Right-arm seamers Stuart Broad and Liam Plunkett replaced left-arm spinner Panesar and seamer Sajid Mahmood for England while the hosts West Indies retained the squad which played against Bangladesh on Wednesday.

West Indies: Brian Lara (capt), Dwayne Bravo, Shivnaraine Chanderpaul, Correy Collymore, Chris Gayle, Darren Powell, Dinesh Ramdin (wk), Marlon Samuels, Ramnaresh Sarwan, Devon Smith and Jerome Taylor. coach: Bennett King.
