Chittagong:The third and final one-day international between Bangladesh and India was called off on Tuesday after heavy overnight and morning rain left the outfield waterlogged and.

"The match has been abandoned due to bad ground conditions," a Bangladesh Cricket Board official told reporters after the umpires had a final inspection in the early afternoon.

India won the series 2-0 after comfortable victories in Mirpur and the teams will now contest a two-match Test series.

The first match starts in Chittagong on Friday with the second in Dhaka from May 25.
