''Yes I am contemplating playing in county cricket,'' Sehwag told reporters.
''I am currently in talks with three-four counties. A final decision, as to which county I will be playing for, will be made by July,'' he said.
It would be Sehwag's second stint in the English county cricket.
He'd played for Leicestershire in 2003 but his uneventful association with the side was cut short by a back injury.
Meanwhile Sehwag, who scored a sparkling 117-ball 168 in the DDCA Hot Weather tournament here today, claimed that he was back in form.
''Yes, I am back in form,'' Sehwag said.
''I am happy with my performance today and I think have regained my touch as well.'' Meanwhile, his coach A N Sharma expected the player to be back in Team India ranks before India's seven-match ODI series against England which begins on August 21.
''Sehwag should find his place back in the team before India plays against England in ODIs,'' he said. ''But when it comes to Team India's selection, you know, you never know,'' he added. He also said that a county stint would help Sehwag to regain his touch.
