Bangalore:The start of the one-off one-day international between arch rivals India and Pakistan was delayed after persistent rain saturated the Titwood ground in Glasgow on Tuesday.

The Prince Charles charity match was set for 1045 local time (0945 GMT) but that was delayed due to unusually heavy downpours which have affected much of Britain in recent weeks.

The umpire was due to make a pitch inspection at 1400 local time (1300 GMT/1830IST).
