Talking to the Dawn at the end of the second phase of national team's training camp at the Gaddafi Stadium here, Salahuddin said: "We shall invite Inzamam to attend the camp which will be organised for the home series against South Africa, and if he proves his fitness and form, he will be selected in the team."
Salahuddin also said he was satisfied with the choice of Lawson as the coach of the national team.
He also expressed confidence about the team's chances of doing well in the inaugural Twenty20 World Cup in South Africa.
"With more and more Twenty20 games played at the camp, the boys will improve their skills," he said.
The final squad for the mega event would be named before August 11, the deadline set by the International Cricket Council, he said.
