Rahul Dravid quits as Captain

New Delhi, Sept 14, 2007: Indian Cricket team"s captain Rahul Dravid, today met BCCI board president Sharad Pawar, and expressed his desire to step down and also not be considered to lead the team for the upcoming one-day series against Australia.

The 34-year-old batsman had opted out of the current ICC World Twenty 20 tournament in South Africa, but his resignation has come out of the blue.
