New Delhi, Sep 18: Mahendra Singh Dhoni is set to take over as Indian captain for ODI matches after Rahul Dravid's suprise resignation.

Selectors were visibly relieved after nerve-racking 2 days of discussion. The decision to appoint Dhoni has been taken by the selection committee after Sachin Tendulkar refused to do the job. Sachin Tendulkar was the obvious choice after Rahul's debacle but he reportedly refused to captain the ODI team. Sachin Tendulkar is keen to be the test captain, but has not yet made up his mind, sources reported.
