Bangalore: Pakistan skipper Shoaib Malik won the toss and elected to field against Bangladesh in their last Group-F Twenty20 World Cup tie at the Newlands, Cape Town on Thursday.

With Pakistan and Australia made it to the last four round, the match is only of academic interest.

Pakistan fielded unchanged squad while Bangla drafted in Junaid Siddique in place of the pathetic Nazimuddin.

Bangladesh Tamim Iqbal, Junaid Siddique, Aftab Ahmed, Mohammad Ashraful (capt), Shakib Al Hasan, Nadif Chowdhury, Mahmudullah, Mushfiqur Rahim (wk), Mashrafe Mortaza, Syed Rasel and Abdur Razzak.

Pakistan Salman Butt, Imran Nazir, Younis Khan, Mohammad Hafeez, Shoaib Malik (capt), Shahid Afridi, Misbah-ul-Haq, Kamran Akmal (wk), Mohammad Asif, Umar Gul and Sohail Tanvir.
