Sreesanth, who observed that he was looking forward to play before his home crowd in the scheduled second ODI at the Nehru stadium here on October two, reached ahead of the other team members and was present at the stadium for a brief while to have a look at the preparations in the midst of the threat of rain again washing out the contest.
In a brief chat with the local newspersons, Sreesanth expressed fears about rain spoiling the match, even as he was looking forward to playing in front of the cricket lovers of Kochi, his hometown.
He brushed aside queries about his 'sledging game' against the Aussies. ''It's all only on the field. Outside, we are all friends,'' he said.
