Dambulla: England captain Paul Collingwood elected to bat after winning the toss against Sri Lanka in the second one-day international here.

Sri Lankan opener Sanath Jayasuriya became the first player to figure in 400 one-day internationals.

The hosts lead 1-0 in the five-match series following their 119-run victory in the opening match here on Monday.
